Police officers have revealed four people in Stoke-on-Trent have been slapped with coronavirus fines.

For a second night in a row officers across the city are responding to coronavirus regulation breaches, fining people deemed to be breaking the quarantine rules.

StokeonTrentLive previously reported the ‘Covid Car’ responded to a report of a breach in Normacot last night. A barbershop was believed to be running from a property however the owner was not fined.

Officers have tonight slapped four people with the fines.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: « Patrols out and about in Staffordshire dealing with Covid breaches – just visited an address in Normacot and issued four fines following an anonymous report from the public. »

Under Boris Johnson’s lockdown 2.0 rules, families are told not to mix indoors with anyone outside their support bubble or household. However they can meet with one other person outdoors for exercise.
