Slough’s infection rate and number of cases
The town’s infection rate hit a county high of 154.5 cases per 100,000 people yesterday.
To put that into context, the place with the highest rate, as of yesterday, is Knowsley with 662.2.
Coventry and Stoke – who have also moved to tier 2 today – have a rate of 190.6 and 221.6, respectively.
Slough has recorded 1,594 cases since the start of the pandemic, of which 44 of those were recorded yesterday.
